With this trip, you will see the picturesque flat rice fields on the way to Mekong Delta and witness the daily activities on the Cai Be floating market. Conquer the small villages to visit the orchard and fruit plantation. Enjoy the traditional southern Vietnamese folk music.
6:00 am: Pick up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh and depart for Cai Be by car/van. Stop on the way to take some photos of flat rice fields in Tan An town. Upon arrival in Cai Be, get on the motor boat to visit the Cai Be floating market and watch the locals trading fruits and many other commodities on board. Then keep heading to the small villages in order to visit the orchard and fruit plantation.
The next stop is to visit Vinh Long through a series of small canals and experience the charms of the Upper Mekong Delta. Visit a small family business to see how coconut candy and crispy rice popcorn are made. Enjoy lunch at Binh Hoa Phuoc village then take a delightful walk through the bonsai garden.
Meet the car/van in Vinh Long. Return to HCMC. Arrive back at your hotel at around 5:00 pm.
